Brief Profile:

Dr. N.Balakrishna obtained Ph.D. from Osmania University in Statistics in 1993. He joined the institute as Research Assistant in 1983. Involved in various research projects related to nutrition studies for the divisions like community, clinical, Maternal & Child health, Ocular Chemistry, Micronutrient research, Work physiology for the past33 years. He is associated with organizations like WHO, UNICEF, IDRC, SmithKline Beecham, Universities of Mary Land, USA & Loughborough, UK and Sanath Products. He is guiding research scholars, scientists in planning of a study, calculation of sample size, analysis and interpretation of data. He has scientific publications in national and international journals in the fields of Nutritional anthropometry, diet, demography,ophthalmology, and Maternal & Child health.
