Suryanarayana received his PhD in Biochemistry from Andhra University in December, 2004. He joined the institute in 1997. He did his postdoctoral studies as a DST-BOYSCAST fellow at the Washington University, St. Louis and University of Colorado, Denver, USA during 2008-2009. His current research focuses on the diabetic complications in animal models of diabetes and prediabetes.

Saravanan received his PhD in Biochemistry from Osmania University in 2006. He did his postdoctoral studies from Indian Institute of Sciences. He joined the institute in April, 2008. His current research interests are on the role of lipids and fatty acids in health and disease particularly on diabetic complications.

Anil has a PhD in Biochemistry from Osmania University in 2008. He pursued postdoctoral training at University of Michigan Medical School from 2008 to 2011. He joined at the Department of Biochemistry, Osmania University as DST-INSPIRE Faculty in 2012 and moved to NIN in 2013. His current research is focused on signaling pathways and transcriptional regulation in glomerular podocytes in diabetes and obesity.

Reddy has obtained PhD in Biochemistry from Osmania University in 2012. He joined the Institute in 1986 and later became a part of the Group in 2000. Reddy is involved in assisting the research projects of the lab. In addition, currently he is also working on obesity associated ocular problem and role of dietary factors.

Sreenivas received his PhD in Biochemistry from Sri Krishnadevaraya University in 2009. He did his postdoctoral studies at National Institute of Nutrition from 2010-13. His current work is focused on the ubiquitin-proteasome system and endoplasmic reticulum stress under obese and diabetic conditions.
